ENTRY 02 \ ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

Playing our part by respecting our planet. Behind the scenes, ELQ Active has a heavy focus on both social and environmental responsibility. We know this is of importance to our customers.

Intentional decisions are made around who makes each product and the materials that are used. When it comes to packaging, we believe less is more. Each packaging element is eco-friendly; made from recycled materials and/or are recyclable or compostable.

What makes up our environmentally conscious packaging?

• Our swing tags and thank you cards are made in Australia by a company that uses green printing processes to reduce wastage. All cardstock used is also made from recycled paper, which generally produces less air and water pollution and requires less water and energy to produce. We use cotton cord for our swing tag string.
  
  
• Although they may look and feel like plastic, our post bags are far from it! We chose to use 100% compostable mailers that are Australian made and will break down in a home compostable environment in 120 days.
  
  
• We decided to omit plastics and opted to send our orders in custom-designed, branded paper wallets. These range in size depending on the size of the order. All bags are made from paper and are recyclable.
  
  
• Our ELQ branded tissue paper is non-toxic FSC-certified, recycled paper and is fully home-compostable after use.
  
  
• Our branded ELQ tape is made from rice paper using non-toxic adhesive and a soy-based ink. It is compostable after use, breaking down fully within 90-180 days. It can also be curb-side recycled after use.
  
  
• The shipping labels we use are also made from recycled materials using FSC Certified Paper, are compostable and use non-toxic adhesive.
